What does it mean to be an OEM Ram Certified Collision Repair Centre? An OEM certification indicates that the technicians have a thorough understanding of the manufacturer’s technologies. This is what allows them to make an informed decision when it comes to the vehicle’s safety and performance, and they use only OEM parts when repairing Ram vehicles.
OEM certification is a big investment to repair shops, as it requires owning the special tools and equipment to get the repairs done, as well as passing a final inspection. While certification can be costly, it’s one of the best investments a car repair shop can make. Many people don't realize that insurance companies can try to steer you to use a DRP, which will cut costs when repairing your vehicle and use non-OEM parts in the repair. As well, leasing a vehicle usually requires you to use only Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. That's why it's important to use a Certified Repair Shop.
When you use a non-certified collision repair shop for your vehicle, they can use used parts and aftermarket parts on your vehicle. A certified collision repair shop like Modern Automotive, will only use OEM parts on your Ram vehicle.
